
How will bills be handled?
If you are choosing insurance, it will be submitted within 24 hours of being seen. When it is returned, we send the first invoice to you directly through email invoice. This helps to creates clarity up front on session price and expectations.
If you are choosing private pay, you will pay the full amount at the end of each session, by having an active card on file.
All clients must have an active card on file, this is covered in our practice polices. After an invoice is issued, it is due immediately upon receipt.
How do we get started?
Once you have reached Mindful Healing, we will create a patient portal for you. Minors will have patient portals created under their primary caregiver or identified legal guardian. If parents are separated or divorced, both parents will be notified of minor starting services. Patient portal will contain all relevant information for services. This will include consent to treat forms, HIPPA compliance, as well as practice policies.
What are the business hours?
Mindful Healing does have business hours that are structured. We do not answer our phone line for new intakes or for emergency calls after business hours.
We have set business office hours from 9-5 for answering phone hours. However, our providers to set some evening hours and some Saturdays upon request.
If you are in an emergency, please call 911, or visit your nearest Emergency Room. Mindful Healing is not able to assist with a mental health crisis. If you reach your provider after hours, it is not within our practice to respond.
Your provider will go over specific client/provider boundaries with you regarding contact via phone or email for cancels and re-schedule.
What happens if I do not show up?
We value your healing, and we also invest in our time and our ability to offer healing time to clients. We offer a 24 hour cancel policy. If there is a no call/no show within that time frame, you will automatically be charged $90.00 for the hourly rate. This will be signed in the practice policies and your card will be placed on file at the start of counseling engagement.
What if its not a good fit?
We do not take it personal. Counseling and client fit is the number one indicator of client progress outcome. We want you to be honest and upfront. You have the right to quality care, and to feel safe and comfortable with your provider. Please let your provider know as soon as possible, if you are feeling you are needing a referral within our clinic or out. We want to help you heal.
Insurance Information
We accept most major Insurances. We encourage new clients to contact their Insurance provider prior to session start regarding co-pays and benefits.

We set our hourly rates to meet the guidelines of insurance market rates. If a client should choose to opt for private pay or we are out of network, a client can sign an agreement for private pay rates. Mindful Healing’s set rates for 2023 identified as follows.
Diagnostic Assessment- $255.00 an hour
55 Minutes Plus- $210.00 an hour
45 Minutes Plus- $ 155.00 an hour
30 Minutes Plus- $90.00
If a client is uninsured, a client can be offered the out-of-pocket rate of $155.00 an hour until insurance is active.
