Sarah Connell, MS, LPCC

Hi! My name is Sarah (she/her), and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor here at Mindful Healing. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have experience working with a wide range of individuals and adapt my approach to where you are at on your journey to finding answers and growing into the best version of yourself.

My experiences are broad, but I work with many individuals facing symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD and more. I have training in LGBTQIA Affirming care, and provide a safe and welcoming space for any and all people.

When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time outside, walking my two dogs Ruby & Riker, spending time with friends, reading, and being a plant & coffee enthusiast.

“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you, doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone” -Lisa Olivera.

Deb Dobbins, MS, LPC/ LPCC

My name is Deb Dobbins.  I have been married for 36 years, have two grown sons and two wonderful granddaughters.  I currently have five dogs living at my home along with two cats and a rabbit.  As you can see I love animals!  In my free time I like to do various craft projects such as crocheting, diamond painting, cross stitch, watch the NBA, and gardening, weather permitting.  I love spending time with my family and my dogs.

I started my adventure in counseling later in my life.  I wanted to start counseling because I saw my brother struggle with his mental illness and was not able to find anyone that understood his mental health and his struggles living with mental illness.

My education began when I received my associates and bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Phoenix.  I then went on to receive my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, at Walden University.  Walden University is an accredited college and one of the main focuses at Walden University is Multicultural counseling.

I have received a certificate for CAMS treatment, and I am starting post-partum training from PSI in Perinatal counseling soon.  I hold interest in the areas of play therapy as well.  I enjoy working with clients that struggle with any form of mental health, but I find an interest in working with clients with bipolar disorder, grief struggles, trauma, and issues during and after pregnancy.  I love doing what I do, and it is so fulfilling to see my clients succeed in learning how to manage and live with their mental health.
